Someone’s missing a shoe\, someone else is crying about their hair\, and you’re just trying to remember why you thought this was a good idea in the first place. That’s exactly why our Christmas Mini Sessions in North Snohomish are designed to be the calm in the holiday storm. Whether you want the cozy glow of our open-air studio set or the fresh PNW air around our vintage truck bed and evergreens\, or a little of both (weather permitting!) these sessions are quick\, fun\, and real. No mall lines. No fake smiles. No awkward “what do I do with my hands” energy. Just your family — being yourselves\, laughing\, and creating the kind of memories you’ll actually want to see every year. Short. Simple. Kind of Magical.Each session runs 20 minutes or less — the perfect amount of time to get natural\, relaxed photos without testing anyone’s patience (including the toddler\, the spouse\, or the dog). Every booking includes a minimum of 25 high-resolution digital images\, so you’re not left picking favorites or paying extra later. We don’t hold your photos hostage. These sessions are ideal for: Families who don’t have time for a full session but still want beautiful\, high-quality photos.Kids who’d rather play than pose.Well-behaved pets who deserve a little holiday spotlight.Parents who just want the d@*n Christmas card done — without the meltdown.We photograph both indoor (open-air studio) and outdoor setups\, weather depending. I’m pretty good at reading the room and breaking the ice. If your kid is shy\, we’ll start quietly or with something they really love (books\, Miss Rachel\, Bluey\, whatever). If your dog’s stealing the show\, we’ll let them have their moment. If your partner looks like they’d rather be anywhere else — don’t worry\, I’ve got terrible jokes and I’m fast. Oh\, and I do NOT expect perfect\, smiling at the camera\, always cooperating and listening kiddos\, no matter the age …. it’s all about real\, which means I follow their lead\, and give them choices\, you just interact with them or look at the camera while I take care of the rest. No stress allowed\, good vibes only (this is holiday magic season\, y’all). And I’m going to get WEIRD. I make weird noises\, play peekaboo\, pull out the dumbest “6-7” I can\, talk like Donald Duck\, start singing the Bluey song\, or even Hello it up like Miss Rachel. Whatever it takes\, it’s gonna happen. I believe photos should feel like you\, not like a Pinterest board. The best moments usually happen in between — the giggle before the smile\, the squeeze after the pose\, the “oh my god\, don’t tickle me” laugh.
