Darcie emailed me a special request for their engagement location. It wasn’t long after Mother’s Day, and I’d recently posted my “Mommy & Me” photos that Josh had taken of the girls and I at my parent’s property.
Darcie LOVED the way the property looked. I couldn’t blame her. The old well-digger in the yard, the colorful overgrown flowers all over, trees everywhere – it’s truly that Northwest feel, up a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. We met in town and they followed us up … and up, and up. I joked with them later that it must have felt like we were taking them into the woods to do something sinister (my parents live 6 miles up a dirt road, literally in the middle of nowhere).
It couldn’t have been more perfect… and neither could their session. They were fun, willing to do and try anything, and filled with laughter and love.
