Snohomish County Weddings are on the rise.
Snohomish County is one of the highest-density wedding venue regions in Washington State. Within a 30-mile radius of downtown Snohomish, couples can choose from working farms, manicured gardens, restored chapels, golf-course ballrooms, and lakeside lodges. Most rural venues require outside catering and operate seasonally (May through October), while year-round indoor options cluster in Mukilteo, Everett, and Snohomish proper. And with new hotels popping up along the Everett waterfront and even in downtown Snohomish, it’s only going to keep growing as THE place in Washington State to host your wedding.
After documenting 640+ weddings at 100+ venues in this area over 15+ years, here’s what I tell every couple who asks: the “best” venue isn’t the prettiest. It’s the one that fits your guest count, your weather risk tolerance, and what you actually want your day to feel like. Below are 35 venues organized by category – with real 2026 investment ranges, indoor backup info, average review rating, and the photographer’s notes that will matter on your wedding day. 17 of the following Snohomish wedding venues are Exclusive venue discount locations.
Why Snohomish County for Your Wedding
Snohomish County sits 30-45 minutes north of Seattle, putting it in the destination-but-not-really sweet spot. Couples get rural farm aesthetics, Cascade Mountain views, and river valley light without asking guests to drive two hours. The venue density here is unusual.
Three things shape a Snohomish wedding more than most couples expect:
- Weather risk is non-trivial. Most rural venues are outdoor-first with a covered fallback. A real plan for rain, wind, or 95F heat in late August is not optional. It is part of the venue decision.
- Licensed catering is almost always required, and most venues do not have in-house catering. Make sure you have budgeted accordingly.
- Season is everything. Peak season (June-September) prices and books out 12-18 months in advance. Several venues are summer-only: Woodland Meadow Farms (May to mid-October), Stocker Farms (June-August), The Cedars (mid-May through mid-September), Maroni Meadows (July-September). Off-season venues can run 30-50% lower.
Snohomish Wedding Venue Investment Ranges (2026)
Venue rental is one line item. Below are realistic 2026 venue-only ranges based on currently published pricing from venue websites and aggregators (The Knot, Zola, Wedding Spot, Eventective, WeddingWire). Always verify with the venue directly. Most have peak/off-peak tiers and Friday/Sunday discounts.
| Venue Type | Typical 2026 Range | Examples |
| Historic chapel / smaller historic / golf venue-only | $1,500-$4,900 | Belle Chapel, A Chapel on Swan’s Trail, Blue Boy West (venue-only) |
| Mid-range farm / smaller estate | $3,000-$5,500 | Carleton Farm, Marionfield Farm, Falling Water Gardens |
| Established mid-tier farm / garden | $4,500-$7,500 | Maroni Meadows, Pemberton Farm, Jardin del Sol, Stocker Farms, Machias Meadows, Pine Creek Nursery |
| Premier farm / garden estate | $6,500-$11,000 | Twin Willow Gardens, Woodland Meadow Farms, Hidden Meadows, Echo Falls Golf Club |
| Top-tier estate / curated outdoor | $8,000-$13,500 | Lord Hill Farms, Gray Bridge, Green Gates at Flowing Lake (peak summer) |
For context: most of our couples invest between $4,500 and $10,000 in photography. (Full breakdown on our investment page.)
How to Choose a Snohomish Wedding Venue
Skip the Pinterest scroll. Answer these in order before you tour anything:
- Guest count, honestly. Not “we might end up at 200.” The realistic number after declines. Venues are built for capacity bands: 50–80, 100–150, 175–250, 250+. Choose the band first.
- Indoor backup or full commit? If a sideways October rain plan would derail your day emotionally or financially, choose a venue with real indoor capacity for your full guest count – not a covered patio that fits 60 of your 150 people.
- Catering reality. On-site, mandated catering can be costly. Non-preferred caterers may cost more. Most venues maintain an approved list (for quality and liability reasons). If you have a non-negotiable caterer or specific cultural cuisine requirement, ask before falling in love.
- What’s actually included. Tables, chairs, linens, getting-ready spaces, sound, parking, restrooms, sparklers – every venue handles this differently. The “$6,000” venue with no chairs and a 5-hour limit is more expensive than the “$10,500” venue with everything and a 10-hour window. Some venues even include a decor closet.
- Time-of-day light. This affects your portraits more than your venue choice. Ceremony at 4pm in July hits very different than ceremony at 4pm in October. We build timelines around each specific venue’s light – see the Photographer’s Notes throughout this guide.
- Whether or not you want a first look before the ceremony. Not every venue is laid out so that a “first look down the aisle” is an option. We can absolutely let you know if your venue falls in this category – and it’s included in the venue notes for the 35 Snohomish wedding venues below, too (First Look recommended means that one should happen before ceremony).

Farm and Barn Venues (11)
Lord Hill Farms | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 700 (350 ceremony / 450 reception) | Indoor backup: Yes, two-story barn building | Venue investment: Starting around $8,700 | Catering: In-house options + vendor resources | First Look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

The largest wedding venue in Snohomish County. 450 acres of professionally landscaped grounds with paved walkways, gardens, pond, gazebo, and Cascade Mountain views. Two-story barn with cathedral ceilings, hand-hewn beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Upstairs hosts ceremonies up to 350, downstairs handles receptions up to 450. Year-round. 12-hour rental includes tables, chairs, audio equipment, parking attendants, elevator (ADA accessible), and onsite coordination. Dog-friendly. French Creek Estates (a property owned by Lord Hill Farms) is available as a getting-ready house.
Photographer’s notes: With 450 acres to work with, portrait location options are nearly unlimited. Build in a 45 to 60-minute window to move efficiently between sites; the property is large enough that walking eats real time. The upstairs ceremony space has gorgeous natural light through the large windows during daylight, which makes it a strong ceremony backup if weather pushes the outdoor lawn ceremony indoors (although it admittedly photographs much better after dark).

Craven Farm | Snohomish
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Two sheltered buildings | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended

Established 1949 in the heart of the Snohomish River Valley. 70 acres framed by rolling hills with Cascade Mountain views. Two sheltered buildings: the rustic Harvest Barn (strung with twinkle lights and chandeliers) and the open-air Pole Barn for dancing and drinks. Two outdoor garden sites for ceremonies, parties, and cocktail hours. Owners Brian and Kimi Chadwick took over from the Craven family. Originally a working dairy and berry farm.
Dairyland | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 | Indoor backup: Yes | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended

Sister property to Woodland Meadow Farms (less than a mile apart), owned by the Beal family. Restored white barn that was once a working dairy. Pet-friendly. Strong shoulder-season value and styles up beautifully with florals and candles.
Woodland Meadow Farms | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 250 | Indoor backup: 20’x50′ covered primary reception structure | Venue investment: Starting around $6,500 | Catering: Open vendor policy | First look recommended

Enchanted-forest-style outdoor venue with tree-covered ceremony space, covered reception structure, bridal cottage, groom’s quarters, oak tree swing, and pine forest. Family-owned by John Beal since 2010 (started as a tree farm). Pet-friendly. Summer-only venue: May through mid-October. Rental includes 250 white folding chairs, 32 8-foot farm tables, fire pit, bar space, all-day rental, and complimentary rehearsal. Open vendor policy (no required lists).
Photographer’s notes: The ceremony space sits under a true tree canopy, which gives us beautifully filtered light on overcast days but creates strong dappled shadows on bright sunny ones. We position formal portraits accordingly. Reception coverage goes ambient by 7pm and we work in flash to keep skin tones true to life.
Stocker Farms (Snohomish Red Barn Events) | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 175 | Indoor backup: Multiple indoor and outdoor spaces | Venue investment: $5,000-$7,000 | Catering: Contact venue | First look recommended

Vintage-style venue on Stocker Farms in the Snohomish River Valley, with Cascade Mountain views and a classic red barn. Available June, July, and August only. Multiple ceremony and reception spaces on the property, including a ceremonial garden with five acres of lawn. Owned by the Stocker family (same family operates Hidden Meadows).
Pemberton Farm | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 | Indoor backup: Brand new large indoor reception area + covered space | Venue investment: $5,000 Friday/Sunday, $5,500 Saturday | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look not a requirement
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue

Hidden gem on 88 acres along the Snohomish River. Full working farm with cows. Natural tree backdrop for ceremony, brand new large indoor reception area, separate house for getting ready. The entrance has stone work and a weeping willow with white fence line. River access includes a sandy beach when the river is low. We offer exclusive pricing for Pemberton Farm couples.
Photographer’s notes: The venue provides a golf cart that the couple and photographers can use to take portraits by the cows and the main entrance weeping willow. River access offers great sunset and golden hour photos. Adventurous couples have been known to run into the river in their wedding attire.
Carleton Farm | Lake Stevens
Capacity: Up to 200 seated (250 max) | Indoor backup: 2,600 sq ft barn + covered ceremony deck | Venue investment: $3,300 off-peak, $4,200 peak | Catering: Open vendor policy + trusted vendor list | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Third-generation family farm with views of farm fields and the Olympic Mountains. Wedding barn built in 2014 with warm wood finishes, high ceilings, suspended wagon wheel chandelier, and café-style lighting. Private bride and groom rooms with bathrooms. Covered ceremony deck and 18×54 patio off the barn for overflow or dancing. Closest Snohomish Valley farm to the I-5 corridor.
Crossroads at Thomas Family Farm | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 350 | Indoor backup: Yes, large burgundy barn | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Right on Highway 9, easy to access. Privacy hedge-wall in front blocks much of the road noise. Huge burgundy red barn allows for both ceremony and reception indoors, or the more popular option of ceremony on the back patio with fountain and fire pits. Back field works well for sunset and golden hour photos. Founded by the Thomas family (Marv and Dennis Thomas with their wives, both named Debbie), who started hosting weddings in the mid-2010s.
Photographer’s notes: Highway 9 is right there, but the privacy hedge blocks most of the road noise effectively. The barn interior is one of the brighter farm spaces in the county during day, which helps reception coverage stay natural-looking longer.
Marionfield Farm | Arlington
Capacity: Up to 165 | Indoor backup: Yes, historic barn | Venue investment: $3,900 starting, $5,900 Saturday peak | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

124+ year old historic dairy barn surrounded by 50 acres of tall grass fields. Red barn with loft, fully accessible. Two getting-ready spaces: one in a tiny house, one in the barn loft. Outdoor plaza with both covered and uncovered options. Fully staffed venue (handles setup, table busing, beverage maintenance, breakdown, final cleaning). 14-hour rental plus 1-hour rehearsal. We offer exclusive pricing for Marionfield Farm couples.
Photographer’s notes: Two sunset opportunities (thanks to 2 different tree lines), which is rare. The space is fairly compact for portraits, so we recommend a first look so you can capture portraits before the ceremony well before guests arrive.
→ Read the full Marionfield Farm photographer’s guide in our Venue Hub.
Machias Meadows | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 | Indoor backup: Pole Barn + 1906 Barn | Venue investment: Packages $5,500-$7,500 | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Historic 29-acre farm originally built in 1895, with 750 ft of Pilchuck River frontage. Purchased in June 2017 by the Revenig family, who restored the structures while preserving original designs. The 1895 farmhouse serves as the Bridal Suite. The property includes a Pole Barn with 500 sq ft patio, the 1906 Barn, and a sprawling lawn. Highland cattle on the property. Long rental window (10am-11pm). Indoor + outdoor options.
Photographer’s notes: The ability to host a fully indoor wedding without a room flip is unusual in this market and a real planning advantage. The Highland cattle and Pilchuck River frontage give us portrait setups that don’t look like every other Snohomish farm wedding.
Liljebeck Farms | Snohomish County (Paradise Lake)
Capacity: Up to 250 indoor / 250 outdoor | Indoor backup: Yes, full indoor ceremony + reception | Venue investment: Starting $8,500-10,000 | Catering: Open vendor policy (preferred list available) | First Look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Eleven-acre private family farm in the Paradise Lake area, 6.3 miles from Snohomish and 20 miles northeast of Seattle. Originally an equestrian arena that housed 50+ horses, now a modern-rustic-industrial wedding venue still owned and operated by Todd and Tami Liljebeck. Year-round indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces both with 250 capacity. Polished concrete and wooden accents, indoor bar with two kegerators, outdoor bar silo, fire pit, lawn games, s’mores station, in-house Lil’ Clicks photo booth, and a signature Heart Wall where couples engrave their initials and wedding date. Two getting-ready suites (one prep suite with vanity stations, one lounge with TV, pool table, games). Extensive lending room of decor. ADA accessible. 9am-11pm rental day. Snohomish County Banquet Permit required for alcohol.
Photographer’s notes: We are a preferred vendor at this venue. The year-round indoor capacity at 250 is rare for a venue of this aesthetic in the area. Polished concrete and wood interior gives reception coverage a cleaner, more editorial look than most farm-conversion venues. Tami is hands-on and a true partner on the day. We have photographed multiple weddings at Liljebeck Farms, including two where we served as both photographer and coordinator through True North Coordination. That dual experience matters here: Tami runs a tight ship, and the venue layout rewards photographers who already know where every light pocket is and where the timeline pressure points sit.
Garden and Estate Venues (12)
Twin Willow Gardens | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 150 | Indoor backup: 40×60 covered reception tent + Cedar Chapel ceremony in woods | Venue investment: $7,000+ (verify with venue) | Catering: Required vendor list | First Look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Set east of historic Snohomish off Highway 2, with views of the Snohomish Valley. Owners Brian and Rebecca. The Cedar Chapel is a forested ceremony space under old-growth cedar, hemlock, and maple trees with a hand-hewn wooden arbor and rustic wooden benches. 40×60 reception tent with artificial turf for consistency and drainage. Dance floor on a full cement patio backed by 12-foot antique wooden doors from the 1911 Snohomish firehouse. Two getting-ready tiny homes. Required vendor list for caterers, DJs, AND coordinators. Master gardener-planted grounds. 13-hour rental.
Photographer’s notes: The Cedar Chapel ceremony space is one of the most distinct ceremony settings in the county, with light filtered through tall cedars. The dappled shade requires careful positioning for the wedding party, but the resulting frames are unlike anywhere else in the area.
Jardin del Sol | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 | Indoor backup: Quaint barn + outdoor dance floor + tent | Venue investment: $4,450-$5,650 weekend; $200-$1,800 weekday | Catering: Flexible vendors | First look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue

Boutique-style garden venue on 7 acres of rolling pasture and lush woodlands. Manicured gardens with ponds and fire features. Quaint barn with changing/meeting rooms and bathrooms. Custom floor plans created for up to 200 guests. Onsite friendly staff during the event. Outdoor dance floor and large tent for reception. Strong weekday value (rental as low as $200).
Maroni Meadows | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 | Indoor backup: 40×40 covered reception tent (fits ~160 seated) | Venue investment: $4,500-$6,500 | Catering: Outside caterers allowed; required in-house bar (Bottoms Up) | First look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue

Five private acres of gardens, towering trees, and two ponds. Owned and operated by the Maroni family since 1974 (Deni is the venue’s main contact and day-of coordinator). Multiple ceremony sites, with the island-on-the-pond as the signature spot where guests are seated around the water while you say your vows. Outdoor venue with a 40×40 reception tent (leg drapes, chandelier), Tiki Hut bar, fire pits, Bride’s House and Groom’s Pub for getting ready. New restrooms installed in 2024. No kitchen on-site and limited power, so caterer selection matters. In-house bartending (Bottoms Up) is required. Available primarily July, August, and September.
Photographer’s notes: The island-on-the-pond is the signature ceremony image of this venue and worth building your timeline around. We plan portraits to catch the light dancing on the water. Tall-tree canopy means dappled light all afternoon. Rain backup is the 40×40 tent (~160 seated), so at full 200 capacity with weather going sideways, plan for some cocktail-style overflow.
Pine Creek Nursery (Events at Pine Creek) | Monroe
Capacity: Up to 250-300 | Indoor backup: Rustic barn for reception + greenhouse for photos | Venue investment: Reception starting $5,500; typical spend $7,000+ | Catering: Preferred vendor list | First look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Active retail nursery built from raw farmland in 2003 by Paul and Gwen Sayers. Manicured gardens, large patio area surrounded by lawns and gardens, airy loft for the bridal party to get ready. Rustic event buildings reminiscent of a craftsman-style winery with warm wood interiors. Greenhouse for photos. Peak season May-October.
Photographer’s notes: The nursery rows and gardens give us repeating-pattern portrait backdrops that are uncommon at other farm venues. Plan portraits before guests arrive to avoid foot traffic during the nursery’s open hours.
Hidden Meadows | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 350 | Indoor backup: Yes, full indoor reception with mountain views | Venue investment: Starting $4,742 for 50 guests | Catering: In-house catering required | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Family-owned by the Stocker family (5th generation; Mick and brother Tyler run wedding operations). Two separate buildings, both with mountain views and in-house catering. Wooden gazebo for ceremony among winding walkways and fountains. Covered patio with built-in bar and Mount Pilchuck views. Antique barn finishes throughout the reception space: soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams. Indoor + outdoor options. Located at 11805 Springhetti Rd, Snohomish. In-house catering is required, not optional.
Photographer’s notes: Mount Pilchuck views aren’t guaranteed (clouds hide it plenty of days), but when it shows up, it’s the single most dramatic backdrop in central Snohomish County. We watch the forecast and adjust timeline.
Olympic View Estate | Lake Stevens
Capacity: Up to 100 seated dinner (Carriage House) | Indoor backup: 4,000 sq ft two-story Carriage House | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended

Privately owned outdoor estate with courtyards, pathways, water features, and gardens designed as different outdoor rooms. 4,000 sq ft two-story Carriage House accommodates seated dinners up to 100. Available seven days a week, April through October, one wedding per day.
Falling Water Gardens | Monroe
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Partial | Venue investment: $3,100-$3,600 | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look not required
Venue Website We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Ten acres of lush farmland, stunning gardens, and beautiful water features. Two luxurious glamping tents for getting ready (unique among Snohomish County venues). Strong value tier among Monroe-area garden venues.
Nature’s Connection | Arlington
Capacity: Up to 200 outdoor, 60 indoor | Indoor backup: Carriage House + elegant white tent | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: In-house through Concept Catering by Lombardi’s | First look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Five private acres surrounded by 15,000 acres of forestland. Gardens, manicured lawns, three trout ponds with waterfalls, multiple ceremony sites, Carriage House plus tent for reception. In-house catering through Concept Catering by Lombardi’s simplifies planning.
Photographer’s notes: The pond-and-waterfall combinations give us water-element portraits that are rare in this market. The forest surround means controllable light even on harsh summer days.
The View | Snohomish
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Partial | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look not required
One of Snohomish’s most secluded venues, with utmost privacy. 22 private acres of natural green forest, rolling fields, and wide-open views of the Cascade Mountains. Worth a tour for couples who want a less-saturated backdrop.
The Carey Gardens | Snohomish (Maltby)
Capacity: Up to 300 (200 comfortable) | Indoor backup: 40×50 covered tent with fabric lining and chandeliers | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Open vendor policy (licensed businesses only; no DIY/potluck) | First look recommended

Outdoor seasonal venue in the Maltby area established in 2017 by Doug and Penny Carey. Backyard-wedding feel with deck for ceremony at the water’s edge, gazebo, fire pits, flower beds, and a 40×50 covered tent with fabric lining and chandeliers for reception. Includes tables, chairs, linens, LED bar, wedding arch, dance floor, outdoor games, and a lending library of decor. 13-hour rental day plus a 1-hour rehearsal. The Careys offer extensive optional services in-house: catering, wedding cakes, professional DJ, dance lessons (they have 25 years of ballroom dance experience between them), photo booth, and coordination.
Gray Bridge | Sultan
Capacity: Up to 225 ceremony, 200+ tent | Indoor backup: Yes, 2,700 sq ft white reception tent | Venue investment: $9,500-$13,500 | Catering: Flexible | First look not required
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Sixteen-acre intentionally designed outdoor estate with three acres devoted to wedding space. Waterfront ceremony amphitheater with seating for 240+, 2,700 sq ft white reception tent, spring-fed ponds, the namesake gray footbridge, evergreen forest, fountains, open meadows, and Cascade Mountain views. Not a barn venue. Includes farm tables, chairs, buffet boat, built-in bar, and s’mores cart in rental.
Photographer’s notes: The amphitheater ceremony site with white crushed marble center steps is one of the most cinematic processionals in the county. The fountain in the East Pond is on a tether, so it can be moved for portrait setup. About an hour east of Seattle.
→ Read the full Gray Bridge photographer’s guide in our Venue Hub.
The Cedars | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 160 seated | Indoor backup: Acres Pavilion (2,000 sq ft covered) | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: In-house through Maverick Catering | First Look recommended
Venue Website We are a preferred vendor at this venue
Twenty-four-acre forest venue 9 minutes from downtown Snohomish and 30 minutes from Bellevue. Cedar Grove dining area, Acres Pavilion (2,000 sq ft covered space), pond, waterfront ceremony site, forested pathways, and a distinctive shipping container bar. Available exclusively mid-May through mid-September. Rental includes 160 white cross-back chairs, 22 dark brown 8ft farm tables, propane fire pit, industrial bar, and a 12-foot wooden boat available for lakeside portrait setups. Owners Zeke and Jennifer. In-house catering through Maverick simplifies planning.
Photographer’s notes: Old-growth cedars are a photographer’s gift and challenge in the same breath. The forest light is naturally soft and directional, but the tree cover creates pockets of dappled shade that can wreck a group portrait if we don’t pick locations carefully. The pond and the wooden boat give us water-portrait setups almost nobody else in Snohomish County offers.
Multi-Use Estate Venues (4)
Sadie Lake Events | Arlington
Capacity: Up to 300 | Indoor backup: Yes, 3,000 sq ft heated barn + tent | Venue investment: $5,500-$9,500 peak; $3,000 starting off-peak | Catering: Flexible | First Look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Eighteen private acres with a stunning private lake five minutes from I-5 near Smokey Point. Heated 3,000 sq ft event barn, large outdoor tent, two get-ready suites, five restrooms, full kitchen, on-site parking, row boat and lake access, outdoor fire pit. Rental includes chairs, tables, arbors, indoor and outdoor sound systems, outdoor games, and extensive decor inventory. Year-round.
Photographer’s notes: The decor inventory and included rentals are unusually generous. Couples save real money here on things they would otherwise pay separately for. The lake gives us reflection portraits we can’t get at any farm venue.
French Creek Manor | Snohomish
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Yes | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
Freshly renovated 1930s custom manor, hosting weddings, conferences, memorials, and milestone events since 2004. Modern amenities and gorgeous grounds while preserving classic charm. Strong fit for couples who want a smaller, more personal venue. Touts itself as an all-inclusive venue. This venue has a distinct vintage vibe.
Pretty Bird Weddings and Events | Snohomish
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Yes | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look not required
Newly launched 30-acre estate property surrounded by pristine land. Newer to the venue scene, so pricing tends to run softer than established competitors in the same tier. Worth a tour for couples who want a less-saturated backdrop.
The Bannan House Farm | Granite Falls
Capacity: 120 seated / 200 cocktail | Indoor backup: Semi-covered Field House (1,760 sq ft) and new in 2026: a 40×60 White tent with chandeliers | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Flexible (preferred vendors or outside) | First look not required

Forty-nine waterfront acres along the Stillaguamish River with Mt. Pilchuck as the ceremony backdrop. Built in 1915 as a working equestrian farm, restored by Mindy and Phil Bannan starting in 2019. Field House reception pavilion with chandeliers, fans, and overhead cafe lights on the adjacent patio. Garden House for getting ready (also doubles as a honeymoon suite). Barn wood banquet tables crafted onsite from repurposed 100-year-old wood from the original barn, included in rental. Sandy beach access on the river. Pet-friendly with prior approval. New in 2026: 40×60 white tent with crystal chandeliers.
Photographer’s notes: Mt. Pilchuck behind the ceremony lawn is the kind of backdrop you can’t manufacture. We work the timeline to put ceremony when the mountain is most likely to be cloud-free, and we keep a Plan B portrait route along the river if the mountain hides. Owner Mindy is a true partner on the day. Resident bald eagle occasionally photobombs.
Chapel and Historic Indoor Venues (4)
A Chapel on Swan’s Trail | Snohomish – Note: venue may be closing in 2026

Vows can take place at the gazebo on a warm sunny day or inside the chapel for a traditional ceremony. Dinner and dancing unfold under a sprawling white tent on the lawn. Separate from the Farm at Swan’s Trail.
Belle Chapel | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 150 (100 ideal) | Indoor backup: Yes, full chapel + reception ballroom + outdoor Courtyard | Venue investment: $1,550-$4,650 (varies by package) | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended

Restored 1885 chapel (originally United Methodist Church) at 231 Avenue B in historic downtown Snohomish. Cathedral ceiling with original hand-carved old-growth cedar trusses, high steeple, mahogany details. Adjacent reception ballroom with French doors opening to patio and garden. New Courtyard outdoor space (~2,200 sq ft) added recently. Owner Sharon St. Marie is also a certified officiant. 13-hour rental day. Year-round.
Photographer’s notes: The chapel interior has gorgeous windows every few feet, creating a moody intimacy ideal for portrait coverage of the ceremony itself. The garden area is well-maintained and works well for outdoor portraits when weather cooperates.
The Feather Ballroom | Downtown Snohomish
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Yes | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
Built in 1906 on First Street in downtown Snohomish by the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Historic charm with modern amenities after a full update in April 2023. Famous for its ‘sprung’ dance floor with coils beneath the hardwood, designed to make dancers feel like they are floating on air. No other dance floors like it remain west of the Mississippi. One of the few true downtown-Snohomish venues, where guests can walk to dinner, drinks, and lodging.
The Snohomish Carnegie | Downtown Snohomish
Capacity: Upper Level 108 (70 seated comfortably) | Indoor backup: Yes, fully restored 1910 historic building + outdoor plaza | Venue investment: $85/hour weekdays, $95/hour weekends/holidays (hourly rental structure) | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look recommended
Restored 1910 historic landmark at 105 Cedar Avenue, originally funded by the Carnegie Foundation as the Snohomish Carnegie Library. Served as a library until 2003 and reopened as an event venue around 2020-2021 after a decade-long restoration. Registered on both the Washington State and National Register of Historic Places. Owned and operated by the City of Snohomish. Dramatic interior and exterior architecture, modern amenities, ADA accessible, 12 parking spaces (2 ADA), and an outdoor plaza for expanding events. The hourly rental structure makes it an unusual fit for smaller weddings, elopements, rehearsal dinners, or receptions priced more flexibly than the typical flat-rate wedding venue. 90-day minimum advance reservation; last-minute (30 days or less) considered based on staff availability.
Golf Course Venues (2)
Echo Falls Golf Club | Snohomish
Capacity: Up to 200 (Lake Room) | Indoor backup: Yes, Lake Room banquet space | Venue investment: Starting $6,750 | Catering: In-house | First look not required.

Country club venue in the Echo Lake area of Snohomish, 15 minutes from Woodinville off Highway 522. Tudor-style clubhouse with the Lake Room banquet space, which has wraparound windows overlooking the 18th hole island green. Outdoor ceremony space on a former putting green next to the largest waterfall on the course. Bridal suite with 6 stations + private bathroom; separate groom suite. In-house catering, bar, setup, cleanup, and event rentals included. Events director Wendi Hroncich has over a decade of experience. Year-round.
Photographer’s notes: The waterfall ceremony spot is iconic (but only on for a limited number of hours), and portrait coverage on the course requires a golf cart and the venue’s cooperation (which they’re generous about). The Lake Room’s natural light is forgiving for reception coverage.
Blue Boy West Golf Course | Monroe
Capacity: Up to 350 | Indoor backup: Yes, indoor event center + enclosed sun deck | Venue investment: $3,000-$4,900 venue only; $8,000-$12,500 with course access packages | Catering: Flexible | First Look recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Nine-hole golf course in the Cascade foothills above the Skykomish Valley. Originally Blue Boy Ranch, a 1900s thoroughbred training facility. Rustic garden ceremony area, heated and enclosed 30×30 sun deck, indoor event center seating 170 (with sun deck), bridal suite, separate groom suite, outdoor bar, fire pit area, caterer’s prep kitchen. Tiered packages run venue-only through full-service with day-of coordinator. Surcharge applies for weddings over 200 guests.
Photographer’s notes: We have photographed and coordinated here as primary, so this section is firsthand on both sides of the planning conversation. The Skykomish Valley setting and Cascade Mountain views set this venue apart from the other Snohomish County golf course options. About 25 minutes from Everett. The tiered package structure gives couples real budget flexibility, and the Platinum tier (with included day-of coordinator and bartending) is one of the better all-inclusive options in the county for couples who want to hand off logistics.
Lakeside and Lodge Venues (2)
Green Gates at Flowing Lake | Snohomish (Lake Stevens area)
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: Yes, 3,000 sq ft ballroom (former covered riding arena) | Venue investment: Starting around $8,000 peak summer | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First Look Recommended
This is an Exclusive Venue Discount wedding venue.

Five-acre seasonal waterfront venue on Flowing Lake. Once a modest equestrian estate, now a wedding venue with the original 3-horse barn converted to a Bridal Cottage and the former covered riding arena converted to a 3,000 sq ft ballroom. Historic Groom’s Cabin. Wedding lawn has sweeping views of the lake and Cascade Mountains. ‘Salvaged and re-purposed’ style throughout. Wrought iron arch and hand-poured Tuscan columns at the altar.
The Lookout Lodge | Snohomish area
Capacity: Contact venue | Indoor backup: 40×40 covered tent on cement patio (outdoor venue, no indoor backup) | Venue investment: Contact venue | Catering: Outside catering allowed | First look not required

Outdoor-only venue tucked into the woods between Snohomish and Granite Falls, open May through October. Gorgeous large wood trellis and split-log bench seating for the ceremony area. Cement patio for the reception. View of Mt. Pilchuck, surrounded by old-growth trees, with a peeking view of Lake Stevens from the back property. Full competition-size beach volleyball court (with sand!). Sparkler exits allowed when there is no burn ban.
Photographer’s notes: The split-log seating and wood trellis make for one of the more distinctive ceremony aesthetics in the area. Mt. Pilchuck cooperates or it doesn’t, so we adjust timeline and portrait direction based on whether the mountain shows up that day. We are a preferred vendor at this venue.

Couples’ Reviews at a Glance: Ratings for All 35 Venues

A high rating with five reviews is less statistically meaningful than a slightly lower rating with 90+; read the rating and review count together, not the star count alone.

Best Months to Get Married in Snohomish County
June-September is peak season. Long daylight, low rain probability, and most outdoor venues hit their stride. Expect to book 12-18 months ahead, especially for Saturdays at Lord Hill Farms, Twin Willow Gardens, Hidden Meadows, Gray Bridge, and Woodland Meadow Farms.
May and October are underrated. Spring brings active landscaping at every nursery and garden venue. October light is among the best of the year for documentary-editorial coverage. Risk of rain is real, so favor venues with full indoor backup.
November-April is off-season. Most outdoor-only venues close (Woodland Meadow Farms, Stocker Farms, The Cedars, Maroni Meadows, Green Gates, Olympic View Estate, The Lookout Lodge). Year-round options (Belle Chapel, Echo Falls, A Chapel on Swan’s Trail, Sadie Lake, The Feather Ballroom, The Snohomish Carnegie, French Creek Manor, Lord Hill Farms, Crossroads, Carleton Farm) can run 30-50% lower and offer flexibility.
Friday and Sunday weddings run lower than Saturdays across nearly every Snohomish venue. This is the single highest-leverage way to expand your venue budget.
Photographer’s Notes That Apply to Every Snohomish Venue
Across 640+ weddings in this area, the patterns that consistently affect coverage:
- Barn interiors are darker than they look. Most Snohomish farm reception spaces drop to low-light conditions by 6-7pm. We use flash deliberately and color-match it to the venue’s installed lighting so the result reads true to life.
- Cascade and Olympic Mountain backdrops are best in late afternoon. Morning light flattens the mountains; afternoon light gives them depth. We build couple’s portrait windows accordingly when mountains are part of your vision.
- Covered ceremony tents (Twin Willow Gardens, Maroni Meadows, Gray Bridge’s reception tent) and tree-canopy ceremony sites (Woodland Meadow Farms, The Cedars, Twin Willow’s Cedar Chapel) create dappled or cross-shadow light on sunny days. We position formal portraits accordingly.
- Family photo lists at large farm venues take longer. Lord Hill Farms is 450 acres, Pemberton Farm is 88 acres, Gray Bridge is 16 acres. Moving 8 family groups through portraits is a 30-45 minute operation. We tell every couple: build your list however long you need it (35 combinations is comfortable), then let us build the timeline backward from there.
- Most rural venues have a 10pm or 11pm hard out. The reception coverage you pay for has to fit inside the venue’s contract window. Pad your timeline.
All of the above is built into our standard 9-hour coverage minimum.

Wedding venue rental in Snohomish County typically runs $1,500 to $13,500 for venue-only pricing in 2026 depending on tier and season. Historic chapels and golf venue-only packages start around $1,500-$4,900 (Belle Chapel, A Chapel on Swan’s Trail, Blue Boy West venue-only). Mid-range farms and garden estates fall in the $3,000-$7,500 range. Top-tier estates like Lord Hill Farms and Gray Bridge reach $8,000-$13,500. Friday and Sunday dates run lower than Saturdays. Off-season dates at year-round venues can run 30-50% lower than peak season.
How far in advance should I book a Snohomish wedding venue?
For peak-season Saturdays (June through September), book 12-18 months in advance. Top-demand venues like Lord Hill Farms, Twin Willow Gardens, Hidden Meadows, Gray Bridge, and Woodland Meadow Farms often book 18-24 months out. Off-peak dates and weekday weddings can usually be secured 6-9 months in advance. We recommend booking your photographer alongside your venue, since both lock in availability the same way.
Which Snohomish wedding venues have indoor backup for rain?

Confirm with each venue directly.
What is the most photogenic Snohomish wedding venue?
There is no single answer. From a photographer’s standpoint, Twin Willow Gardens has the Cedar Chapel forest ceremony and an antique-firehouse-door dance floor backdrop, Maroni Meadows offers the island-on-the-pond ceremony image, Gray Bridge delivers water-and-amphitheater portraits, Pine Creek Nursery is the most floral-rich, The Cedars offers old-growth cedar canopy, Lord Hill Farms gives you the Snohomish Valley vista from a hilltop, Echo Falls has the dramatic waterfall ceremony location, Pemberton Farm has the river beach and weeping willow, and Marionfield Farm’s historic barn interior light is genuinely cinematic.
