A Smoky Sunset, Dirtbikes, and Beer | The Lookout Lodge Snohomish Engagement

This Snohomish engagement session at The Lookout Lodge was everything dreams are made of.

We’ve been socked in with heavy smoke for over a week now (literally, our AQI has been hovering between 170-190) and we weren’t sure how the light would treat us, especially up on the hill. We were pleasantly surprised and there was a gorgeous glow through the trees.

When Chantelle started talking through ideas with me, she mentioned wanting their Snohomish engagement session to look less posed/more natural, and to have less … “traditional” photos – pretty much everything that is music to my ears. When she mentioned dirt bikes, I knew right where to bring them – the dirt bike track at The Lookout Lodge.

We’re so excited for their 2019 wedding at Ashe & Alder, especially since Tanner’s sister is also one of our past brides (and is married to my brother!)   It’s guaranteed to be a beautiful and fun wedding – and photographing these two for their Snohomish engagement session was so easy, I can’t wait to see what their wedding day brings our way!

I think you’ll agree that they absolutely rocked this Snohomish engagement – don’t forget to leave them some comment love below.

Special thanks again to The Lookout Lodge for letting us photograph Chantelle & Tanner there!

  • That shot through the wheel is so cool! I’m so glad the smoke worked out too!
